Say how far down you want it to reach
Four answers and the rack narrows itself. The length filter runs on the 33 hems we have taped in inches; the waist field reads the 42 size charts we hold, and the answer comes back with the size row already picked out.
How the four questions work
The length bands are not marketing words, they are the taped number down the piece, from the waistband on a bottom and from the shoulder point on a top. A skirt at 18.1″ and a skirt at 20.2″ both read as knee length on a listing, and they land two inches apart on the same person. That is the gap this page exists to close.
| Band | Taped length | Pieces |
|---|---|---|
| Hip only | Under 17 inches | 1 |
| Top of the thigh | 17 to 20 inches | 10 |
| Down to the knee | 20 to 23 | 12 |
| Past the hip, tunic length | 23 | 10 |
The waist field is the strict one. Type a number and every piece whose chart has no row for that measurement drops out, so the list gets short fast at both ends. Our charts run from 24.5″ to 45″; outside that we have nothing to offer you, and we would rather say so than sell you a size that will not close.
- Sizes on our charts are ours, not US dress sizes. The US column is a rough translation.
- 10 pieces have no taped hem yet and drop out the moment you pick a length band.
- Nothing here is sold as a set unless it says so, which means the top and the bottom can take different sizes.
