We cut this swim dress with a generous 20.2 inch length measured from the top of the waist to the bottom edge. A wide elastic panel runs across the front to keep the rise sitting flat above the navel. Inside, a sewn-in brief provides complete coverage in and out of the pool.

- Skirt length and rise The skirt measures 20.2 inches from waistband to hem, falling toward the knee. The high rise sits securely above the hip bone and stays in place when you move.
- Wide elastic panel We constructed the front waistband with a wide elastic panel that lies flat against the skin. Side ties let you gather the fabric slightly along the outer seams.
- Attached inner brief A full-coverage knit panty is sewn into the waist and leg openings. The interior fabric wicks water and keeps the outer skirt opaque when wet.
- Nylon stretch blend The grey fabric is an 82 percent nylon and 18 percent spandex blend with a firm, supportive stretch. Rinse in cold water after swimming to protect the elastic.

This does NOT have tummy control so not sure why it says it does. There's absolutely no tightness or restraint in the fabric that smoothes out anything
This is an adorable bathing suit skirt. You can shorten or lengthen it. My thighs sag badly after losing weight, so the coverage is perfect. It is a little long in the torso, for me. It comes up to maybe 3-4 inches from my breasts. Which is ok, since I'm a little too old to be hanging out all over the place. Stretch is great.
