We cut this square-neck tankini top in a ribbed polyester and spandex blend that holds its shape in the water. Crossover straps anchor the back, and the front torso uses horizontal gathers with an elastic panel at the waist. The hem finishes with laser-cut scallops that lay flat against swim bottoms.

- Ribbed stretch knit We use a 75 percent polyester and 25 percent spandex rib knit for this top. The textured knit stretches across the torso, dries quickly in the sun, and recovers its shape after long swims.
- Scalloped square neckline A wide square neck frames the collarbone with clean scalloped trim along the top edge. The same scalloped finish details the bottom hem, lying flat against your swim bottoms without rolling or curling.
- Crossover strap support Fixed shoulder straps cross in back to keep the neckline anchored while you move. Inside the bust, removable foam cups provide shape and slide out through side slits when you wash the piece.
- Ruched waist panel Gathers through the front torso add fabric ease over the midsection. A wide elastic panel sits across the front interior waist to keep the garment lying smooth and close to the body.
